Shipping policy

Trueamaringos (“we” and “us”) is the operator of (https://trueamaringos.com/) (“Website”). By buying an item from us you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

1. International shipping

Purchases sent outside the European Union may be assessed local taxes, duties, etc. upon arrival.  The shipping firm that delivers the package may likewise impose additional brokerage fees or other surcharges as part of the customs and tax process. Recipients are responsible for payment of all fees, taxes and duties related to shipment(s) to destinations outside of the European Union. If a shipment is lost, abandoned or you refuse a shipment due to the local taxes or duties not being paid, Trueamaringos will not issue you a refund for your order. Orders can be delayed due to verification or time of order being placed. Orders may be delivered in separate shipments.

2. RETURNS

Trueamaringos will accept returns due to change of mind as long as a request to return is received by us within 14 days of receiving of item and are returned to us in original packaging, unused and in perfect condition. You should then send the item back to us within 14 days of informing us, otherwise the request will expire. Return shipping will be paid at the customers expense and customer will be required to arrange their own shipping. Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to the same account where the customer paid from. We will notify you once this has been completed through email. (Trueamaringos) will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid. We will process the repayment latest within 14 days of receiving back the item.

3. DELIVERY TERMS

3.1 Dispatch and TRANSIT TIME

Our warehouse operates on Monday – Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

Original paintings: Generally, orders are dispatched within 2 weekdays. International shippings are in transit for 1 – 4 weekdays. We are able to offer a more specific estimate when you inform us where you want the item to be dispatched. After we’ve shipped your painting and notified you about it, it should take:

– 1-2 weekdays if you reside in Europe, North America or Asia
– 2-3 weekdays if you reside in South America
– 2-4 weekdays if you reside in Oceania or Africa

Prints: At the moment the prints are made on demand. This means that the fulfillment can take from 1-2 weeks. After this, the shipping time takes:

Within EU:
– UPS Express saver 1-3 weekdays
– UPS Standard 3-9 weekdays

Outside EU:
UPS Express Saver 2-4 weekdays
UPS Expedited 6-9 weekdays

In Finland:
Posti home parcel 1-3 workdays

3.2 CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS

For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

3.3 P.O. BOX SHIPPING

Trueamaringos will not provide P.O. box shipping, as we use only courier services.

3.4 MILITARY ADDRESS SHIPPING

We are unable to ship to military addresses.

3.5 DELIVERY TIME EXCEEDED

If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

4. TRACKING NOTIFICATIONS

Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

5. PARCELS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please write to .

6. DUTIES & TAXES

6.1 SALES TAX

Paintings: Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website.

Prints: Taxes will be displayed and paid during purchase according to the shipping address.

6.2 IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES

Paintings: Import duties and taxes for international shipments will be invoiced from customers beforehand. You can get to know our estimations of the duties and taxes by contacting us to:

7. CANCELLATIONS

If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

8. INSURANCE

Parcels are insured for loss and damage.

8.1 PROCESS FOR PARCEL DAMAGED IN-TRANSIT

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

8.2 PROCESS FOR PARCEL LOST IN-TRANSIT

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
